Z<\/span>e<\/span>NIS<\/span> was founded by me, Bettina Mohr-Pulverm\u00fcller, with the aim to offer effective, scientifically based treatment for people with brain damage. I am a psychologist specialized in clinical neuropsychology. I have extensive clinical experience in the treatment of adults with chronic neurological conditions and neuropsychological symptoms: for example language and communication problems, memory disorders, or difficulties in planning and reasoning.<\/p>\n

The main focus of my clinical work is the treatment of people with aquired language disorders, so-called aphasias, as well as the treatment of people with Parkinson\u2019s disease. I have clinical experience with individual and group settings. It is very important to me to work together with people affected by brain disease and their carers and family to achieve an optimal treatment outcome.<\/p>\n

In my work as a neuroscientist and in cooperation with colleagues, I developed new treatment methods for aphasia and Parkinson\u2019s disease which have been shown to be effective. The combination of my clinical and scientific work allows me to offer treatment methods which are based on the latest research and which are continously being further developed.<\/p>\n

During my work as Professor of Neuropsychology and Psychology at different universities and research institutions in Germany and Great Britain, I have trained psychologists and physicians and supervised many BSc, MSc, and PhD\/MD students. Talks and work shops at national and international conferences are part of my work as well as training of speech and language therapists.<\/p>\n
